Residence Life staff in the apartment area sponsor programs throughout the year. Large scale events give students a chance to connect with friends and meet their neighbors. Popular events range from welcome events in apartment complexes such as ice cream socials and barbeques, educational programs on transitioning to independent living, bingo nights, drive-in movies to Chocolate on Ice, an apartment area tradition that combines a chocolate extravaganza, ice skating, and food drive for a local charity.
